Sunset Dog Park occupies two enclosed runs on the south edge of Sunset Regional Park in Las Vegas. Use the Warm Springs Road side of the regional park rather than routing toward the main Sunset Road entrance.

Find the dog park entrance
Approach from East Warm Springs Road and use the parking area immediately beside the dog-park symbol on the official Sunset Regional Park map. The two runs sit well south of Sunset Lake and the central park facilities, so the main 2601 East Sunset Road address is less direct for a dog-park visit.
Large- and small-dog runs
Follow the posted size designation at each enclosure rather than choosing only by crowd level. If play becomes too intense, leash your dog in the holding area and move to a calmer option or end the visit. The adjacent regional-park trails are shared spaces where dogs must remain leashed.
Water, surfaces and heat
Reviewers describe a mix of grass and exposed ground, along with water access and shaded seating. These conditions can change with maintenance and the season. Bring drinking water, test surfaces before play and favor early or later hours during hot weather.
Sunset Lake and the regional park’s public splash pad are separate amenities. Do not treat either as a dog-swimming or dog-splash facility.
Rules before entering
Keep your dog leashed outside the designated runs. Inside, remain close enough to intervene, keep your dog in sight and under voice control, and remove aggressive dogs. Pick up waste, fill any holes and carry the leash with you.
Dogs must have current identification, license and rabies tags. Dogs in heat and puppies younger than four months are prohibited. Food and treats are not allowed in the off-leash area. One owner may bring no more than three dogs. An adult must accompany children under 12, and children under five are not allowed inside fenced off-leash areas.
