Clark County Dog Fancier’s Park is a large, fully enclosed off-leash facility beside Horseman’s Park on the east side of Las Vegas. Five separate areas give visitors room to spread out, and four of those areas may be reserved for canine events. Check the reservation schedule and posted signs before choosing a run.

- Enclosures: The facility has five fully enclosed areas. Areas 1 through 4 can be reserved; Area 5 remains available for public use.
- Off-leash use: Dogs may be off leash only inside a designated dog-park area. Keep the leash on throughout the surrounding county park.
- Parking: The main lot sits beside Areas 1, 2, 3 and 5.
- Water: Visitors report faucets in the play areas, but bring a personal bowl and backup water in case a fixture is unavailable.
Find the dog park entrance
The park is next to Horseman’s Park near the east end of Flamingo Road. Areas 1 and 2 back toward Stephanie Street near the parking lot; Area 3 runs along Stephanie south of Flamingo; Area 4 is closer to Jimmy Durante Boulevard; and Area 5 is north of the lot.
Five areas and event reservations
Unless reserved, all five areas are open for public use. Areas 1 through 4 may be booked between 8 a.m. and 11 p.m.; Area 5 is kept open for public use from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. The county does not describe permanent small- and large-dog assignments on its current page, so follow the signs in place when you arrive.
Water, grass and desert weather
The large runs include a mix of grass, exposed ground, trees and seating. Conditions vary by area and season. Visit early or late during hot weather, test surfaces before letting your dog run, and bring more water than you expect to use. The county advises visitors not to leave communal water bowls in the park because standing water can spread illness.
Rules before entering
Use the double-gated holding area one dog at a time, remove the leash before entering the run and carry it with you. Keep your dog in sight and under voice control, clean up waste and leave if your dog becomes aggressive or the group is a poor match.
Dogs must have identification and current rabies tags. Dogs in heat and puppies younger than four months are prohibited. Do not bring food or treats into the off-leash areas. One owner may bring no more than three dogs. An adult must accompany children under 12, and children under five are not allowed inside the fenced off-leash areas.
What park visitors say
Visitors often praise the size of the facility and the ability to move to another enclosure when one area is crowded or reserved. Reviews also mention picnic tables, benches, grass, mature trees and convenient parking. Several visitors recommend carrying a water bowl and paying attention to waste and surface conditions rather than assuming every section will be in the same condition.
