Clarks Creek Off-Leash Dog Park is a fully fenced play area inside the 55-acre Clarks Creek Park in Puyallup. The dog area sits between the park’s north and south sections, with trails connecting both entrances and parking available at each end.

- Dog-park location: Between Clarks Creek Park North and Clarks Creek Park South.
- South entrance: 1700–1710 12th Avenue SW, with parking, restrooms, a playground and trail access.
- North entrance: 7th Avenue SW at 18th Street SW, with parking, restrooms and trail access.
- Hours: South access is open from 6 a.m. until one-half hour after sunset year-round. North access closes one-half hour after sunset from October through February and stays open until 11 p.m. from March through September.
- Layout: One fully fenced off-leash enclosure of about two-thirds of an acre; the official information does not identify a separate small-dog area.
- Water: A dependable dog-water station is not confirmed. Bring drinking water and a bowl.
Find the dog park entrance
The clearest route is from Clarks Creek Park South. Enter from 12th Avenue SW, park near the playground and follow the trail north toward the fenced dog park. The enclosure can also be reached from the north entrance, but that walk is longer. Keep your dog leashed on all connecting trails until you are inside the fenced area.
Surface, shade and nearby amenities
The enclosure has a wooded setting and a wood-chip and dirt surface rather than a broad lawn. Shade and nearby park trails make it easy to add a leashed walk before or after off-leash play. Restrooms and other family-park amenities are outside the dog enclosure near the north and south access areas.

Park goers often mention the friendly group of dogs and owners, the fenced woodland setting and enough room for social play. Some visitors also appreciate the mulch surface when it is fresh and the option to continue onto the surrounding park trails.
Other visitors report mud, standing water, worn mulch, limited fresh water and no separate space for small dogs. Conditions can vary after rain, so bring water, expect dirty paws and pause at the gate to judge whether the current mix of dogs suits yours.
Rules before you enter
Keep your dog leashed outside the enclosure, stay with your dog during play and clean up all waste. Because this is one shared enclosure, closely supervise size and play-style differences. Follow posted city rules and move back to the leash if the park is crowded or your dog becomes uncomfortable.
