Pawm Springs Dog Park is a six-acre off-leash park inside Sugar Land Memorial Park. It features a resort-style swimming pond and water spray in the all-dog area, a separate small-dog enclosure, shaded pavilions, agility features, rinse stations, grass, parking and nearby Memorial Park trails.

Swimming pond and rinse stations
The resort-style pond is intended for dog swimming in the all-dog enclosure. The small-dog area does not have its own pond. Supervise inexperienced swimmers closely, keep dogs away from crowded entry points and do not force a dog into the water.
Bring fresh drinking water and prevent dogs from drinking pond water. Sugar Land’s parks planning documents note resident concerns about pond water quality, so check its appearance and current city notices before swimming. Use the rinse stations afterward and skip the pond if conditions look questionable.
Grass, shade and trail options
Both dog areas provide open grass and shaded pavilion space, with agility features adding variety. Wet dogs and irrigation can create muddy or slick patches near the pond, so check the surface before fast play and bring towels.
The adjacent 0.75-mile Memorial Park loop offers an on-leash walk before or after the dog park. Keep dogs leashed everywhere outside the fenced enclosures and allow time to dry after rinsing.
Rules before you enter
Dogs must be leashed while entering and leaving. Inside, keep your dog within sight and voice control, carry a leash and never leave a dog unattended. Dogs need current rabies and other required vaccinations, a current license tag, and handlers must carry a copy of the rabies certificate.
Puppies under four months, dogs in heat and aggressive dogs are prohibited. Clean up waste immediately, stop digging and persistent barking, and remove spiked or pronged collars. No food, smoking, bicycles, skateboards, rollerblades or motorized vehicles are allowed. Children under 12 may not enter; visitors under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
