University Park Dog Park is a four-acre fenced off-leash area in College Station with separate spaces for small and large dogs. The City highlights swimming ponds, an agility course, benches, shade, and a wash and hydration station. The surrounding playground and walking loop are separate shared park amenities.

Find the dog park entrance
Approach University Park from Park Road and use the public parking area near the playground. Follow the walkway and dog-park signs to the fenced entrances, then choose the posted small- or large-dog area. Keep your dog leashed in the parking lot and on shared paths until both of you are safely through the appropriate gate.
Ponds, agility and natural shade
The City describes a wooded walkway leading to a large dog-swimming pond, along with agility obstacles in the large-dog area. Visitors also report seating, natural shade, rinse water and room to run. Pond and trail conditions can change after rain. Supervise closely around water and wildlife, discourage drinking from the pond and bring a towel for the trip home.

Rules before you enter
College Station prohibits dogs in heat and puppies younger than four months from off-leash parks. Dogs older than four months must have current rabies vaccination and Brazos County registration tags. Remove an uncontrollable or aggressive dog, prevent digging, fill any hole your dog creates and clean up waste. Outside designated dog parks, dogs must remain physically restrained.
