Happy Tails Dog Park is a two-acre fenced off-leash park on the east side of Buck Thomas Park in Moore. It has separate areas for dogs above and below 30 pounds, agility features, mature trees, drinking fountains, an adjacent restroom and a large parking lot.

Choose the right play area
Moore divides the park at 30 pounds. Use the small-dog section for dogs weighing 30 pounds or less and the large-dog section for dogs weighing 30 pounds or more. Follow any posted rotation or maintenance signs when one side is temporarily unavailable.
The mature trees and shaded areas help during warm weather, while the open runs and agility features give dogs room to move. Some visitors report worn or muddy ground after rain, so bring a towel and check your dog’s paws before leaving.
Water, restrooms and current work
The city lists drinking fountains for dogs and owners, plus a restroom next to the dog park. Bring backup water because fountains can be unavailable during winter or maintenance.
The City of Moore scheduled work on an ADA sidewalk for the east-side large-dog area from early to mid-September 2026, weather permitting. The city also scheduled interior painting in park restrooms through the end of September.
