Gwinnett County lists this entrance in Lawrenceville, although nearby searches and the existing directory path often label the area Suwanee.

- Dog-park entrance: 310 Old Peachtree Road, Lawrenceville, Georgia. Use this entrance rather than the park’s Rock Springs Road or Spriggs Road entrances.
- Hours: Sunrise until 11 p.m. unless posted otherwise. Because sunrise changes through the year, check the County page and entrance signs rather than relying on a fixed morning opening time.
- Dog areas: Separate fenced areas for small and larger dogs. Follow the size labels posted at the gates.
- Nearby facilities: Parking, restrooms, a playground and three lighted soccer fields share the Old Peachtree Road side of the park.

Choose the right play area
Check the gate labels before entering and use the enclosure that matches your dog. Pause between gates, let dogs move away from the entrance and remove the leash only after the inner gate closes. County rules require gates to remain closed and dogs to stay under voice command.
The official master plan labels a 0.8-acre small-dog area and a 1.48-acre large-dog area. Because the plan is dated and the County says designs may change, treat those acreages as orientation rather than a current survey. The present County page confirms a lighted dog park but does not republish enclosure dimensions.
Water, shade and nearby trails
Recent park goers describe water fill points, shaded seating and open grassy areas. Bring backup water and bags because seasonal service, maintenance and supply levels vary. Check the footing and your dog’s paws during hot or wet weather.
Rock Springs Park also has a two-mile paved trail and natural-surface connections between park areas. Dogs must remain leashed outside the designated dog park. County trail rules give pedestrians the right of way and require pets to stay leashed and to the right of the trail centerline.

Owners must remain with their dogs, keep gates closed, clean up waste, fill holes and immediately remove a dog that becomes unruly or plays too roughly. The County advises against using the dog park during inclement weather.
Aggressive dogs, dogs in heat and dogs with contagious conditions are prohibited. Do not bring food, glass, spike or prong collars, tobacco, alcohol or illegal drugs into the dog park. Children may not be left unsupervised.
