Find the dog park entrance
Enter Burt Aaronson South County Regional Park from Glades Road at 12551 Glades Road. Follow Regional Park Drive north from the entrance. Canine Cove is on the right near the barrier-free playground and Sunset Lake, with its own nearby parking area. The regional park is large, so use the official map below instead of routing toward the golf course or northeastern facilities.

What park visitors say
Recent visitors praise the clean grounds, three size-based play choices, shaded gazebos and sunset views across the lake. Reviews also mention the pet fountains and wash station as useful after active play. The closest lot can fill during busy periods, but additional parking is a short walk away.
Some visitors recommend bringing a portable bowl even when the pet fountains are operating. Grass and soil can become muddy after heavy rain, particularly in the larger enclosures, so a towel is useful. Check the open large-dog section before settling in because the county rotates those areas for maintenance.
Rules before you enter
Keep dogs leashed while entering and leaving, carry the leash inside, and stay within view of your dog. The county limits each handler to two dogs. Clean up waste and remove a dog at the first sign of aggression.
Food and smoking are not allowed inside the fenced areas. Large dogs may not use the small-dog section. Dogs must be vaccinated and display current licenses; puppies younger than four months and female dogs in heat are prohibited. Children age ten and younger require close adult supervision.
Before you go
Check the Palm Beach County dog parks page for current closures and rules. Bring a standard leash, backup water, a bowl and a towel. For incidents or injuries, the county directs visitors to contact the park ranger supervisor at 561-252-1714.
