Find the dog park entrance
Enter Fox Run Regional Park from Stella Drive and take the first right toward the Oak Meadows area. Continue past the playing fields to the fenced dog park in the southeast corner. Keep your dog leashed in the parking lot and until you are inside the designated off-leash enclosure.

Wooded loop and separate play areas
The county describes a half-mile loop trail inside the five-acre enclosure, along with a picnic table and trash receptacles. Trees provide a different experience from an open turf run, but expect a natural dirt-and-needle surface that can be dusty or uneven. Choose footwear for a wooded walk and check the ground before letting your dog run.
The smaller enclosure is for dogs at or below the posted 25-pound limit. Small dogs may need a quieter start even in their designated area, so pause at the gate and watch the play before entering.
Water and wider-park amenities
Fox Run Regional Park has restrooms and drinking fountains elsewhere, but the county’s dog-park facility list does not promise water inside the enclosure. Visitors repeatedly recommend bringing water to fill the bowls that may be present. Treat any available bowl as a convenience rather than a dependable supply.
The lakes, playgrounds and picnic facilities belong to the wider regional park. They are not dog-swimming areas, and dogs must stay leashed outside the fenced dog park.

El Paso County requires handlers to keep visual control of their dogs, carry a leash and clean up waste. Dogs must remain leashed in the parking lot and until they enter the designated off-leash area. Puppies under four months, dogs in heat and dogs showing aggressive behavior are prohibited.
