La Paws is on the east side of Felipe Road, just south of Gilleran Park. Use directions to the dog-park coordinates, then follow signs from the gravel parking lot. Keep your dog leashed in the lot, plaza and walking-trail areas.

What to expect
The three-run layout gives visitors more control over the kind of play their dog encounters. The single-owner area is intended for one owner or custodian at a time and should be limited to 30 minutes when others are waiting. Grass sections may rotate or close temporarily for maintenance.
Rules and safety
Dogs must be at least four months old, vaccinated, licensed, tagged, spayed or neutered and supervised at all times. Each owner may bring up to three dogs. Remove waste promptly and keep dogs leashed outside the fenced runs.
Food, alcohol, commercial training and aggressive behavior are prohibited. Dogs that are pregnant, in heat or lactating are not allowed. Children under 13 must have a parent or guardian.
