Wildcatters Dog Park has separate fenced areas for small and large dogs on Santa Fe Road in Brea. Head to the dog-park address at 3450 E. Santa Fe Road, near Valencia Avenue. Bring your own waste bags and plan around the Thursday morning maintenance closure.

Find the dog park entrance
Open Wildcatters Dog Park in Google Maps, then check the enclosure signs when you arrive. The small- and large-dog areas have separate entrances; an October 2025 visitor describes the small-dog area as down the street from the large-dog run.
A November 2025 visitor reported parking across the street. Allow time to walk to the correct gate, use marked crossings and keep your dog leashed along Santa Fe Road. Parking capacity and a step-free gate route have not been confirmed.
Water, seating and room to play
The city lists double-entry gates, benches beneath trees, picnic tables and drinking fountains with dog bowls. Close each gate behind you and check the enclosure before releasing your dog. Bring backup water: a November 2025 visitor reported fountains that were not working properly.
Expect a mix of surfaces rather than an all-natural-grass lawn. Brea’s July 2020 renovation update records synthetic turf, decomposed granite and pea gravel, plus new seating and trees. A February 2026 visitor also described artificial turf. The city’s older amenities list still says grass turf; check the surface and shade when you arrive.
Rules before you enter
The official Wildcatters rules limit each person to three dogs. Carry a leash no longer than six feet and use it on the way to and from the enclosure. Dogs must wear identification and have the licenses and vaccinations required by law.
Stay with your dog, clean up waste and remove a dog immediately if it behaves aggressively. Puppies younger than four months, dogs with communicable illnesses and female dogs in heat are not allowed. An adult must supervise children under 16.
Leave food, treats and most toys outside; the posted rules make an exception for balls and frisbees. Smoking and commercial dog activities are prohibited. Check all gate signs before entering, including the city’s warning about nearby wildlife.

Visitors in early 2026 praised the cleanliness and friendly atmosphere. A February visitor liked the artificial turf and described a positive outing with their puppy; a June review also highlighted the space and welcoming feel.
Experiences vary. In November 2025, one visitor appreciated the seating and friendly dogs but reported faulty fountains, odors and flies.
