Find the dog park entrance
Use directions to the dog-park coordinates at Ashford Park on Auburn Ravine Road. Parking serves the combined park area. Keep your dog leashed through Ashford Park and until the dog-park staging gate is closed.
What to expect
The dog park has broad grassy running areas, shaded seating and water features designed for dog play. The adjacent people park adds restrooms, a playground, picnic space, barbecues, a creek and a small pond. Dogs must remain leashed outside the fenced dog area.
Wet weather can damage the grass and lead to temporary closures. Check field conditions before driving over and inspect the water, ground and gates when you arrive.
Rules and safety
Handlers must carry a leash, keep dogs in sight and under voice control, and may bring no more than three dogs. Dogs must be licensed, at least six months old and free of illness, fleas or ticks. Dogs in heat and aggressive dogs are not permitted.
Children under 15 require adult supervision. Food, alcohol, glass and smoking are prohibited. People may not enter the dog pond or climb on dog equipment. Review the complete Ashley Memorial Dog Park rules and current field conditions before visiting.
What parkgoers say
Parkgoers often praise the large grassy areas, water features, cleanliness and friendly community. Visitors also appreciate the separate sections and nearby restrooms and picnic areas. Some report muddy conditions or closures during rainy periods, and a few mention health or supervision concerns during busy visits.
